Planning on getting myself a Go Pro for Christmas but know little about them. Is the 3 worth getting over the 1? I know the 1 is bigger and slightly heavier but will i see i clearer video from the 3?

Do a search on 'youtube' loads of side by side comparison videos to give you an idea of the differing quality .

I've had a 1 and a 3+ black.
The older one is pretty good in clear daylight, struggles in shadows and poor light though.
The 3+ is just amazing. Yes you will see better footage.
Is the 3 different to the 3+ though?
