im looking at a go pro.is the new 2 worth getting or is the original as good?

Just got a pro 2 for Xmas I've yet to use it yet but my uncle commented that the display is much better as it has symbols rather than numbers so it's slightly easier to use, not sure if that helps or not.

There's been quite a few older Gopros so be careful... But, all the HD ones are excellent. The 2's incremental improvements, not revolutionary, but if you're buying new and you can afford it, it's the best wearable camera out there.
The older HDs have a usable display, but the new one's usability seems much improved.

New sensor in the new one, supposed to be much better that the previous version.
