I know there's a fan base of e-cargo bikes on here, and this long tail just popped into my adverts, looks like a typical Go Outdoors bargain. £1800.

Possible weak link is the unknown brand, presumably Chinese mid-drive motor, but I imagine Go Outdoors are pretty strong on the warranty service.

I could be described as e cargo bike curious but I am too tall for this one and also would need more info on the battery capacity and power output/torque etc as I live up a steep hill

Seems very light on detail for something you might want to drop best part of £2k on. Lack of detail is pretty common for go outdoors and if it's something like a pair of trainers or a tent and you can Google the details from a 'better' retailer....but on a £2k bike....

Looks like it. If it is, lowest gear is 38/32, which ain't that low although I guess it's fairly simple to stick a bigger cassette on.

Yeah, I reckon that's the same bike.

Think I'd be looking upgrade the brakes at the same time as the gear ratios - 160mm rotors for a system weight of 200kg?! Sketchy.

Yeah, I thought that too, but the brakes themselves are fine so a set of 180mm (or bigger on the front if you want) rotors + adaptors and you're sorted.
