Anyone on here doing either of the "Glorious Gravel" events this weekend?

I just spotted these a few days ago. I've entered Saturday's loop from Hope. Sunday's loop from Hayfield (almost my doorstep) is fully booked... but I might go and ride the route anyway.

Looking forward to it. Not done an organised event for a long time.

I saw that route as it's more or less right from mine.
Ridden bits and pieces of it (or at least, based on the sketch map of the route, what I "think" it is...) but never in that arrangement.

You got the gpx or a map of the route from Hope? I can guess most of it, be interesting to see it.

Unfortunately not, family commitments this weekend. Enjoy though, hopefully the weather isn't too bad.

Thanks for the heads up - never heard of that but might be interested in the Dales one in a few weeks. Reckon given I own a gravel bike, I should try one one day! I am rather guessing that 100km round the Dales proper on a Gravel Bike will be a bloody tough day out.

Did the Salisbury one a month or so ago. Was well organised and friendly people.
Signed-up for the Wessex one last weekend but felt knackered so did not go. The fuel driver crises provided a good alibi.
