Giving my 3 year old Anthem a wash earlier & noticed this on the top tube , right next to the seat post. I'm going with Crack , but I know everyone loves this game so fill yer boots.

If it's by the seat tube, then likely to be a crack. How much seatpost was in the tube?

There's probably a good 5-6" still inserted in the seat post (Brand x dropper). It's interesting that there's evidence of corrosion in the form of bubbling under the paint almost 10mm away from the crack , possibly letting water in?

I'll email Giant & see what they say , it's a shame it's not a bit more obvious. Might keep using it for a bit anyway.

Ignore it, what could possibly go wrong?

Yay! Luckily Giant have got back to say after looking at the images , it's just a deep scratch & it's perfectly safe to use. 😶
