[Closed] Glentress Red Times - How fast is everyone?

i used to buy an hour parking ticket, with the hope of doing th red in an hour. never quite managed it though, even at my fittest!

I am sure I used to get around in an hour and not much change, back in the day, when I was fit, but the first climb was a lot shorter then with fireroad instead of the tedious switchbacks.

My record for the black is just over two hours.

I know for a fact that, for me, there's only one thing certain about riding Spooky Wood faster and faster each time I go and that's a free trip to Gala Hospital in an ambulance; like the lad last Sunday with his Tibia sticking out through his sock.
I try and ration the amount of times I do this route (and Caddon Bank) 'cos I know I'll get blase and blimming crown myself.. 🙁

how are you supposed to do berm baby berm without pedalling, or are you allowed a rolling start?

Usual rule is no pedalling after the first roller.

NOW you tell me... no wonder I keep falling off at the start.
