It's not that difficult to put together with the official map. Do the black all the way around to Redemption, but at post 87 there is an official short cut onto the blue. Take this and then cut round to the red. Do the red including Spooky Woods, down to the blue again, but then loop back to do Betty Blue and the fab blue downhill to the cafe.

Nah - do the Red to the bottom of Spooky woods, turn left onto the Blue and follow that down to the fire road. Take a left again to the top of Deliverance, down that and up Redemption then find the Red again to finish.

Black to start of Deliverance, go past and try and find Broon Troot, the best section at Glentress, end up back on black and finish off on black or Pie Run and bits back to the finish.

And go do Innerleithen. It's awesome. I do prefer it. In fact, move Broon Troot to Innerleithen and I'll be quite happy.

Climb from bottom on main climb, at top car park do Red - Spooky Wood, Super G, Hit Squad Hill.

Up hill to do the Black Double X and the Bitch - Worm Hole then climb back up to Pie Run and Mush Room Pie then Magic Mush - Hit Fireroad back to top car park then Blue all the way back down to lower. ( Electric Blue and Falla Brae)

Carbon337's sounds like my ideal GT route, except when I end up on one of them trails that doesn't exist.

Add to your route Zoom or Bust though- it's not on the map as it's too recent, but it's lovely. Nice and easy to find, as it's just off the red climb- instead of following the fireroad up round the wallride, you just carry on as if to do the black at waypoint 103, and watch out for the trailhead on your left, before the start of the black. It kicks you out down by the green route at about waypoint 120, so you just turn left onto the fireroad and you find yourself back where you started. Lovely bit of trail.

carbon337's route is only about 1hr long though.

simonralli's route is better, except at the end go back up spookywood climb, turn left as soon as you go through the wall and follow singletrack section beside wall down onto black diamond singletrack which leads into the green section ( which if you go for it is a blast) then back to freeride carpark, upto magic carpet, through freeride area and then onto blue back to carpark

Or... go park up at GT, leave and go do Gypsy Glen then hook up with the back of GT, play on some of the wee DH runs and chuck some bits in before arriving back at The Hub. It's a brilliant wee run Gypsy Glen with a superb descent, nowt crazy, just lovely, fast and flowing.

What you really want to do is: into the last section of woods before spooky woods, look for the track that turns left, take it then turn left at the next track follow that up and over the hill, then at the bit where you meet the spooky wood climb coming out onto the fireroad take the singletrack that goes along the wall. Follow that down to the bottom, hook up with the black and take that all the way to the mast, turn left at the mast, follow the track, turn right at the junction, follow that down to the road, up and over the road onto the open hillside opposite, up onto the ridge turn right then look for the old trails that go from the concrete reservoir thing. Follow those down the obvious ridges and old dh trails into innerleithen. do a lap of inners, but instead of finishing at the normal place in the carpark, climb back up to the hut, go down the SUW (taking note of the beautiful trail on the otherside of the valley), at the bottom of the SUW turn left and head along the road for a mile or so until you see an obvious path heading up to the right (the one you saw earlier) head up there, turn right at the top and follow that until it gets you to the top of gypsy glen. Down gypsy glen and back to GT via janets brae.

Epic route and I'd challenge you to find a better one anywhere.

Next time you do it, could you leave some little arrows at the junctions. Thanks.

carbon337's route is only about 1hr long though.

For some people. But since it's an extended red route, for most people, no.
