It gets a bit more gnar when it's covered in ice too. Combination of spooky woods "Must go faster" and sheets of refrozen snowmelt can be fun.

Don;t be daft, the point of Glentress is that it's great fun. But I know we're not supposed to say that on here, so if anyone asks, tell them i said it's just like a smooth gravel path 😉

Gay and pathetic. I'll raise that. Done that on a race road bike, 17mm tyres, no lights at night on snow, blindfolded in under 1hr for the full black run
