Off tomorrow and wednesday but forecast tells me its been snowing and will continue to do so for the next couple of days at least. Was anyone up yesterday and how are the trails riding, is it lying etc?
Currently the bike is in winter ss mode and i cant be arsed gearing it up for the snow, i find riding 34/17 is nigh on impossible if these is a bit of the white stuff ๐Ÿ™

Thanks in advance

No snow around here. Bloody windy though.

And why do folk 'winterise' their bikes - I can understand changing tyres, but taking off gears?

Well in Midlothian it's sunny, no wait it's snowing, no, sunny again, wait a minute it's raining. 3 seasons in two minutes but yep it's bloomin windy. Snow is forecast though.

Br - cant speak for everyone but i do it for 2 reasons.... 1. To build strength and secondly i only have 1 mtb so to conserve my drivetrain.

Cheers steven

Mate, mtb-ing and conserving 'drivetrains' don't really go together...

I've only one too FWIW.
