Cheers Stu.

Was a joint effort Innerleithen MTB Racing, Peebles CC and Scottish Cycling.

Loads of fun and good to see one of the best Juniors in the world on the track with folk giving XC racing a try. I'll be sending out a What Did You Think type survey to racer soon.

And will hopefully get some results up on website soon www.innerleithenmtbracing.com

(trying to think of a way to run one at Inners, use the road as a start stretch ?)

Inners would be fun for sure - could you not just start it on the track at the top of the switchbacks?

True - it's a bit of a schlepp from the carpark tho and you wouldn't get many spectators.

Thats what make GT so great but yet so bad for events, you have facilities car-parking portaloos in place in the Buzzards but have to put loads of effort into punter management. Sorry bit of a tangent....

I was pleased to see so many people out watching the race.

Yeah, was a good crowd out!

For inners I was thinking of the track just for the start on the first lap, with course something like along the track, up the first bit of singletrack to the 1st rock step, left onto the push up track then down to the arena somehow. Subsequent laps could include the 'bus stop' bit at the top of the switchbacks as used at the British champs. Finish at the bottom of the arena as usual. Would be hard work but fun!
