Is anyone doing this event if so what bike you riding? dh or trail bike? I know there is a small xc style loop at the top of the course but could probably push a dh bike round this bit then have the dh bike to make the rest of the track a bit easier on the body allowing a few more laps.

DH bike. Happy to push if necessary on the xc loop but over the whole course I reckon the dh bike will be a better choice. I'll bring my 160mm bike as a backup

I'm thinking the same the dh bike is gonna be easier on the body over the duration of the day... Only have room for one bike each though....decisions!

Might be taking the tandem up, she's only been back once since the trail building weekend last year.
Now, where did I put the braking parachute?.........

Never ridden there before and no idea what to expect but it'll be 160mm all mountain (whatever that means) bike for me.
