[#4784122]

I need some glasses so I tried a few shops while I was off and didn't have much joy. All the ones I tried slipped down.
This is why I can't wear them, as the slip down leaving me looking right over the tops.

I need some with a nose piece that's no wider than 1cm at it's widest. I have a multiple broken nose and the ones ( i.e all of them) with rubber nose pieces slip down to my nostrils.

Please help. I'm tempted to buy some copies from Ebay just to try them for size.

What about a small piece of something like this glued on - I've used it on umpteen things to prevent slip. I'm sure I used it on a set of sunglasses that were too wide in the bridge.

Have you tried Oakleys or Adidas? I've broken my nose 3 times and have a small face yet have no problems with these makes. And the Adidas have an adjustable nose piece.

I have an enormous nose but nevertheless....

I have some Rudy Projects and the nose pieces are bendy to fit. Good glasses. Oakleys with extra nose pieces are good too.

Before I got some fancy prescription specs I used to have this problem. I used normal glasses for riding in, and the only thing that kept them on my face was a sort of string-with-rubber-bits on the end affair. Something like this (random Amazon link, I'm sure you can find cheaper ones). They have tube bits to grip the end of the arms, and then you tighten it up with the pull-thingy so they stay on your face.

I'm going to have to build up the bridge with something. The bridge of my nose starts a bit lower than it should that's the main problem.

Expensive Jawbones and a lump of putty 😐

I have Split Jackets and they came with two sizes of nose piece to fit. Maybe give those a go?

Got them from vision express - you can try before you buy

As said Oakleys come with two nose rubbers, one of them is pretty narrow, and Adidas Evil Eye have an adjustable nose piece, win win.

What about something like these, less than £10:

Stevo210 They look a good option, the lens even extends a fair way up past the bridge.

Every pair I tried either slipped or say low. Even the best fit hardly covered my eyes i.e way below my eyebrows!

The smaller Oakley nose rubber is probably as small as the adjusted Adidas.
You are of course best to go to a shop and try some on, then you can weep at the price.

i found that a neoprene strap that you can find in surf shop works the best. you dont even have to have it tight as it just keeps your glasses in the right spot with now sliping
