Reports from bike radar is that gisburn has no snow and very little ice, but is very wet.

In terns of trail rides and natural rides, would you agree that it sounds like it will have the best to offer on what should be a good day in the northwest (weather wise)

neither did I, meaning it was just as shitty and muddy as 'natural' trails!

I'd much rather have snow and ice than mud!

Gisburn has been a victim of it's own success. There's some money available for repairs, but the best way to make it better and help make it 'all weather', is to turn up to a volunteer trail building day and give a few hours (there's plenty of time to go for a ride after the digs).
