Couple of spots where it's muddy for a few yards, generally OK, but some big puddles (generally firm in the bottom and not too deep except the one after Whelpstone Crag before the sandy berms). Some sections a bit eroded but fully rideable, some bits recently repaired! (cracking work by the FC team). More repairs due over the next 6 months as soon as the volunteers finish our current section.

Hi Lancslad,
Was up there on Friday and the trail was in surprisingly decent nick despite all the bad weather. When we went, there was an hail storm just before we set off so there was a lot of standing water in certain parts, just be careful because some of them are wheel grabbers. The rest was good, just the weather that let us down as it rained and hailed for two thirds of the route. The stream was quite wild, we had to use the foot bridge even though it was fenced off. It was freezing so wrap up, the approach roads were flooded, so watch out for the odd spot of black ice! Have fun!!
