Went round Gisburn today with a mate, front end washing out so let some air out of the tyre still a bit unsteady,100mm fork, hard tail , bobby mic front and a conti trail king cheapo on back. What tyres for wet rocks this winter- i have had traction issues and want to get them solved ??

I found supertacky minions were superb in the wet, too draggy in the dry though, unless you're on an uplift day.

Are they the cheap versions?

Cheap versions of Conti and (to a lesser extent) Schwalbe tyres are lethal.
