[#1760240]

Thinking of heading up there this weekend, last time I rode there (feb I think), the trails where in quite poor condition and the trails werent singposted very well.

Has anyone rode there lately, how are the trails? Is it properly sign posted now?

Cheers

Was there 2 weekends back - well signed and lovely fast and dry. Wouldnt fancy some of the bits from sheep hill onwards after heavy rain but looks like its work in progress.

The gully has been fully resurfaced although some people have found it a little 'loose', should be bedded in better by now though. There's a new short section open on the cross over bit in the middle, it is signed. Get up there now while it's dry (although there are further maintenance plans in the pipeline for the section up by Whelpstone that disintegrated).

its forecast to piss down this weekend! think I will go Sat morning.

Is the whole trail signposted then, including the new bits?

What is the total distance of the trail?

The map in the hope catalogue says 18km. Missed the new bit riding the cross over on 8 on the outleg but drops you right on it on the return.

Good work jon - nice mix of trad and park trails

Two different leaflets available here and here.

Just feels longer than 18km, there's more climbing hidden amongst the trees than you realise.

Been twice in the last three weekends, agree with everything here. Trails are firm and dry (at the mo) but a little rain will probably help clear the dust. Hully Gully is in good nick.
