its a garmin eTrex Legend HCx
i have memory map of the whole country, can i use it with that?
also the manual is saying 'many of the features of the unit require detialed mapping data to be fully operational' does it? and if so what can i use? do i have to buy the maps from garmin? or can i use the ones off memory map? any help would be appreciated. cheers
draw a route in MM - right click it & click send to GPS
or something like that
Garmin will happily flog you a map of the whole of the Uk for 150 quid

You cant put MM on it either
However you can upload routes you make from MM so sorted!
so the most detailed maps i can put on it are the ones that it comes with, that are just the ones with the main roads on? il have a crack at that mm route, do i need a memory card to put even a route onto it or is there a little bit of internal memory?
