I'm thinking of purchasing a shimano cx50 chainset from crc to go on my giant TCX.
However, it's got a press fit bb86 bottom bracket, which I know bugger all about! Is it as simple as knocking the old knackered one out, and fitting one of these:

shimano do a bb86/bb92 press fit BB that fit these frames/crank and LBS should be able to hook you up & fit
and use a proper tool to fit it wonky bearings are dead bearings.

It would appear from that, any standard Shimano hollow tech chainset wth integrated axle will dop straight in to a BB86 bottom bracket shell.
So different to BB30 which requires a BB 30 specific chainset.
