ok guys and gals honest opinions please, firstly is it good value for money and secondly opinions on its parts. some being custom giant so unsure as to whether giant make awesome parts that last...

its an insurance job so can only buy off this site also, im setting a max purchase of £1075

Got the wrong size wheels (was building clown versions this afternoon).

They are belting bikes. Get one. 26" ones tend to be better value.

too true 29ers suck ass! this bike does look the beezkneez and in an 18inch frame with those 26s would more than fit the bill for trails and general xc plus poplok would help for getting too and from work..

26" ones tend to be better value

Marketing machine means they can punt cheap tat for more 😉

The 29er at the same price gets a big fork downgrade.

i have to say that 29inch wheels look bloody stupid as well no offensive meant if caused (well maybe a little) 😉

In all seriousness, the Talon is a very enjoyable ride. It encourages you to do fun stuff and makes it easy. It's a brilliant frame and great value. I can't recommend them enough- I used to work for a Giant dealer and I'd still buy one now.

i am happy to hear that - it does seem look a good choice and i am surprised that no-one went for that ragley piglet...still this beast is only gonna cost me £150 of my own wedge so win win 🙂

still open to suggestions from this site only
