[#3603930]

I have replaced my MPH brakes with oro K18's.

The rear brake was giving me hassles. Is it worth servicing these and putting onto my son's or wife's bike?

or does anyone want these for spares?

are you able to service them? had to sort some out for a mate and they were a faff in comparison to my Hopes. If you can do it and keep costs down then yeah why not put them on sons/wifes bike

My Mrs was given a bike with these on, she hated them, got rid and still refuses to entertain the idea of discs to this day.

I always understood that they were very near copies of Hope C2 brakes.

Most hassles with them were due to having too much fluid in.
If you wind the adjuster tight down so the pads grip the disc tight, then crack open the port on the lever so a little fluid leaks and then do it straight up, they're good as gold.
I'll be interested if you don't have any takers though!

Did have a look to sell on Ebay and could not find any, just searched and there seem to be quiet a few now.

Happy to sell on here though.

Andrew - will send you an email.

bikewhisperer - let me know if you still interested.

Front works fine, just lever has scratches.

Rear is the problem, was having problems with it jamming on the disc. This was after I had not used the bike for awhile. The level does not seem to be returning very quickly or properly.

I have photos if you want, email me.
