Hi all,

So I bought a Giant Trance frame (2010 new/old stock) and asked them to get me, and fit, a headset.

The frame turned up today and the headset was in the box not fitted, not an issue but now I can't figure out which is the top and bottom cup or if they are both exactly the same.

The sticker on the headset bag states;-

Which makes me think one cup is deeper but neither cup have anything wrote on them to differentiate.

The cups look like this:

Anyone have any ideas how to work out which, if any, is the top or bottom cup.

No difference. If you have wet lube ( finish line green best) work some into the ball races. They will last longer.

If you warm it up and work it in well should be ok.
I like wet lube because it repels water and moves around re-lubing as headset moves, if that makes sense
