I've just purchased defy advanced 2.
What do you think of the wheels ?
Too heavy? Worth upgrading?
Watching with interest as I've just bought one too.
Wheels do feel heavy, but I might just ride them for a year or two until the price of disc road wheels comes down.
New Advanced Pro 2 here, first ride the other day. I like the wheels, but I think they are different to yours, having just had a wee look on the Giant website
I have the same bike and yes if I were to upgrade anything it would be the wheels to get something lighter. But then I ask why do it until they need doing, the bike is plenty fast enough, accelerates well enough and is very comfortable. I even have another bike I could move them onto which might also improve it as well. I reckon to make any worthwhile difference though I'd probably need to spend around £400 and I think spending that on for example good riding kit or maybe a gps unit for navigation would give me a far greater benefit.
