What is the maximum tyre width people have put on a Giant Anthem X29er.Picking up a 2013 Anthem X4 and looking at sticking 2.8 or 3.0 inch tyres on ? would they rub on the chainstays ?

2.8 29er tyres? Doubt they'll even turn! I ran 2.3 Specialized ones easily.

Like the look of the 27.5+ tyre in that post, the blue & black 2015 bike, looks great.
For standard 29er tyres are you looking at 2.3inch as around maximum ?
