Anyone know where I can get one of these from? Don't appear to be many floating around, new or 2nd hand.

Giant certainly have not abandoned 29" I've just bought a 2016 xtc advanced 29'er

Speak to your local giant dealer, all the 2015 bikes are on sale 40% off so cheaper to get a bike to rebuild, and of course full lifetime warranty...

I recently tracked an Anthem advanced 29er down the other month, like hens teeth, epecially to find an XL one to get some modern reach. After I slammed the seat forward to weight the front a bit more it rides like a good 'un. I bought it from a guy in the NE at Hamsterly after about 6 months of occasional looking.

You'll struggle to get one as they seemed to have only manufactured them for the 2013 model year. I also had to pay about £700, but it was pretty much mint.

Giant have largely abandoned 29ers. The only Anthem 29er available is an alloy frame that has not been updated for a few years. Amazing really considering the size of the 29er market in the USA.

Giant is a much bigger market in Aisa, where, apparently they can't give 29ers away.

Also apparently the Maestro suspension design doesn't work very well on 29 format. However I find it one of the best bikes I've ever ridden. If anyone finds an Anthem Advanced in XL painted in Hope factory racing colours, I'd love to get it back after it was nicked last year!

They have stopped doing the Anthem in 29. Daft I think as it's perfect for long distance marathon type riding and still technically capable.

I think I'm going to sell mine though. Don't really want to, but I barely used it last year, due to having too many new bikes and not competing. Large. X1.

Mail me.

do you have a link. I can see the 29er alloy version and the 27.5 carbon one, but not a carbon 29er version
