Yep, there was (is?) one on the road to the Marin trail from Betws-y-Coed.
Very haunting... I wasn't driving fast but it made me lift off the accelerator a bit.

They were an integral part of CSI:NY last weekend.

In addition to the bike polo reference a few weeks ago I think someone in the production team is a 'cyclist' ๐Ÿ˜‰

There was one on CSI: this week. I thought it was just a U.S. thing.

Mixed feelings really. Bit maudlin? bit poetic? bit street litter?

They generally need explaining to folk, so I don't think it's clear what they're for...

Saw one in the City during a late night taxi ride the other week. Spooky.

Couple round here (Brighton) - saddest one is/was on the Devils Dyke road.

there's one on my commute - it reminds me to be more careful riding
although I'm surprised it hasn't been nicked yet

I sort of like the idea, too many cyclist are killed or injured on our roads. This might bring more attention whole issue.

Anyone know if this is a ghost bike in Edinburgh (Marchmont), or some kind of art project?
