Decided to give it a go, inflated no problems with a track pump, and 1 ride in no punctures or explosions of latex...

On-one reetard 29er rims, kenda nevegal dtc 2.2s, and stans sealant. Just used a 24" schwalbe tube for the conversion.

Can you take me through how you did it? In terms of the innertube? Do you split it and trap it under the tyre bead?

I largely just followed [url= http://www.mtbtechniques.co.uk/MaintananceGhetto.html ]this[/url] guide, except I used presta valves instead of drilling the rims. Used a velox rim-tape to build it up a bit, and just stretch the tube on and cut round. Lots of soapy water required to inflate, but no compressor required.
