set up my xm321 rims using bmx tubes and some ust racing ralphs and it worked a treat straight up and held air now got some sealant in for punctures used the ust tyres as i had a spare set but it helped. And no compressor needed its held air for the day fine. happy days. Snapped two levers tho but you cant have it all :-)and it was far easier than the eclipse kit on my other wheels too

Buy stronger levers. I used to have this problem too, but found some stronger levers so no problems any more. And yes, the DT/Eclipse system is a bloody nightmare to get tyres on!

they were my bestest levers lol what are strong ones. My main problem with the dt kit i had was getting my valves to seal

Did you try using really soapy water to get the tyres on?

I've just ghetto'd a DT E540 rim and Maxxis Minion kevlar beaded tyre. Used barely watered down car shampoo and got the tyre on with just my hands.

UST beads must be tighter?!

I haven't used a tyre lever for years on UST and ghetto systems. What am I doing wrong?
