Anyone any experience of owning either of these off the peg steel 29ers?
Quite a lot of web reviews/comments on the Fisher (mostly but not all good) but very little on the Marin)

had a ferrous liked it a lot very fun and stiff/comfy in the right places. always felt it a was a bit steep in the head angle but poss a personal pref
I can't ever imagine selling my Ferrous, it's the most comfy hardtail ever.
I removed the fork spacer making them 100mm - perfect for most UK trails.
yeah meant to say change reba to 100mm or i was also thinking of getting a singular fork for rigid
My Ferrous is about to be re-built with a 26" rear wheel and a five inch fork in an attempt to un-twitchy it. Very comfy especially on longer rides, just a handful on the descents by me.
