Any ideas? Intermitant front derailer chain suck ,seems to only happen at the worst time.new chain,rear cassette, all gears work spot on on work stand and on most rides ,3x9 sram x7 rear and x5 front.any suggestions.cheers

New chain old chainrings? Bet it's when you drop from middle to granny. New chainring(s) im afraid.

Sorry for the misleading title i was distracted when composing the thread fnaarr. (i wish)
It is middle to granny ring,was thinking chain rings also but the teeth seem fine and not too worn , saying that it is a cheapo crankset that came on the bike. I can feel a sneaky stealth online purchase coming on. Cheers
