The mechanical and wear properties of your average HB pencil have come on a long way since I last checked then......

If yesterday's Holy Moly mailout is anything to go by, it looks worryingly like the contents of Shane McGowan's nose.

@clubber: I assume so. To be honest its not mine a friend sent it on and I thought it NEEDED to be shared.

The jockey wheel came off his chain tensioner on the way to work, and this is what got him home, so it does work! Though as said I think long term wear will be an issue...

Cant imagine it got him home unless he freewheeled all the way 😀

There isnt any rub on the pencil from the chain or anything nevermind the glue gun holding the pencil at right angles for the whole journey.. never!

Good effort that man but would a 4H been a better bet? 😆

The pencil doesn't need to take much strain at all tho does it?

However - you can ride with slack in the lower part of the chain, can you not?
