[#1626834]

My work has signed up to the cycle to work scheme with Halfords and capped it at £600.
I like the look of the Genesis Flyer - any thoughts on them?
Also, am I right in thinking Halfords should be able to get me one? (waiting for an email response - guy I spoke to on the phone wasn't sure.)
Thanks

Genesis do not supply Halfords although I know people have managed to get Genesis through the big H.

Thanks Mister P.
I knew that they didn't stock them but wondered how I go about asking them to order one for me. I don't think my local branch are going to be that helpful/willing so wanted to take the details to them.
Wouldn't know how these people went about ordering them, would you?

I had a Genesis Flyer for a while, only sold it get a Skyline which was pretty much the same but with mudguard and rack mounts.
Lovely bike, quite quick and good for commuting, but the transmission that came with it lasted 6 months. I upgraded the Skyline and sold the FLyer on with the new Genesis stuff off the Skyline
If you're interested, I'll be selling my Skyline very soon (I've just got a Singular Peregrine with an Alfine). Its now got a Goldtec rear hub, EAI track 1/8" polished stainless steel track cog, Gerbhardt ring and stainless steel chain. Bombproof!

Do you take Halford's cycle to work vouchers?

I got a Genesis Day One cross through Halfords cylce to work.

Took ages, but that seemed to be on account of there being none in the country.
