Atherton makes Antur look like the Verderers Trail, well, a bit and the bird is just , well, natures best. Nice one thanks !

Gee should have this bird following him at ALL World Cup rounds. It would be like Missy and the piranha, but almost cooler.

What I want to know why GT don't pay him enough to pay for a uplift - Poor chap

Best DH Video i've seen for ages, I was starting to bore of the Pyjama crew whipping everywhere.

His backpack disappears when the does the drop in bit near the end. in fact there's quote a few shots where the bag/bait is missing.

Wonder exactly when the bird got the bait.

Good video though, but watching raptors hunt is brilliant and the ridings not too shabby.

A mate and I were up there riding the day the falconer and camera guy were there scoping it out. We got to have a live display when he let the falcon off and was using the bait on a line. The falcon was coming in close enough over our heads to make us duck several times. Very, very cool indeed. The show came to an end when a wild bird of prey came in to see who the intruder was so it had to be called back.

The bird-cam is a bit shaky. Guess it's hard to operate cameras with your talons.

It is. I rode it last week in blazing sunshine. I'd love to ride it on a big bike though.

Fantastic uplift too... Great day out, I didn't have my dh bike working at the time so just took the hemlock and had a brilliant time. Apart from all the bloomin birds of prey chasing you all day.

The bird-cam is a bit shaky

Shows how much manouvering the bird is doing. You only get to see a few bits of it and I'm guessing the reason for that is that most of what is going on is happening to fast for the camera and the human eye/brain. What an amazing bird the Falcon is.

Brilliant, loved it. And I did also love the comment about the bird not being the falcon world champion.
