Hi I need some advice please. One of my bikes has developed an annoying indexing ( I think) issue. The gears weren't changing down smoothly and where jumping about. I have changed the outers and adjusted the high,low and b screw then indexed on the bike stand. It works OK on the stand but when under pressure jumps about. The chain stretch is ok, no surfing of the cogs on the cassette and a new ish mech hanger (few rides) but still issues. I am possible thinking its the derailleur at fault but I am not sure. Any opinions?
Setup is 1x9 full sus.

Check if your mech hanger is not loose - I had that issue some time ago, very frustrating... Only to find out that the hanger's bolts weren't tight 😳
Had the same thing (admittedly after a very rushed set up job). Using the barrel adjuster for fine tweaking while out on the trail seemed to sort it.
My usual advice on gear indexing threads. Mech hanger alignment. With the correct tool it's easy to adjust, but without it however good you think it's aligned, it won't be. A small amount out and it will throw your indexing out by lots.
Also check your chain for wear. Use the proper tool, if under 75%, new chain time. Also goes for the cassette.
But hanger alignment first.
Just because it's a new hanger doesn't mean it's aligned properly.

I'd change the inner cables before you start looking at anything else.

Have had similair of late.
Mech hanger looked ok on bike, took it off and checked with a straight edge. Turns out it wasnt ok! New hanger problem solved.
Being a full suss and it working in the stand I would say you just need to adjust you cable tension when actually riding as this is probably different when the bike is out of the stand.

I have checked the hanger bolts - all good.
Tried adjusting with the barrell on the trail - it actually got worse.
So alignment is the next thing to check.

Might be an lbs job then.
