I stick with this SP41 (XTR) pregreased from Parkers, grab your cable stops ferrules & end crimp caps off eBay.

To be fair I imagine buying 10m's of cable is a bit overkill for most ppl, but I've blasted through one lot easy enough, so longer term it's worthwhile

Used to buy XTR, now I just get Jagwire kits. Not something to scrimp on even if you can't see it.

Would I notice a difference over Clark's cables that I look after (blow through clean, really lube cable and outer) on my fully routed bike?

Surely the grease gunks up?

I bought a Shimano outer, a new cable and a crimp for £5 from my LBS for my rear mech. Maybe find a different LBS?

Where can I get an off road jagwire kit? Or do you use the road version?

Never had the grease junk up, as on a full cable run (mech to changer) there little chance for dirt enter the system. Can't say it definitely better than any other cable system, but I like this setup
