Looking at chain reaction cycles they are asking almost 10 pounds for an xtr inner gear cable.does anyone know why so much? The outers are not to badly priced just the inners.

Personally don't bother with XTR. Buy cheap and change often. I quite like Clarkes - inner / outer / end caps / crimps for a fiver.

i bought some teflon covered ones off ebay for £1.49 each - they are ace
