Just started something at work called global corporate challenge, basically you get a pedometer and count steps per day.
There is a option for cycling, essentially you use the pedometer and add 300 steps per Kilometre.
The average last year across the organisation was 13,000 a day.
Day one I did 26,000 plus 12,720 (for 42.4 Kilometres)
Seems like a heck of a lot although doubt many people are smashing that much on the bike.
Anyone else doing it?

Me. It turns out there are some big roadies where I work(ed as of today, still taking part in gcc though) going by last year's results. Mountain biking is far more effective at racking up the steps than the road ๐
