Due to a very stupid rider error my Garmin 1000 died a horrible death on the A66 yesterday afternoon due to the lore of tea and cakes the garmin decided to jump of the roof of the car at 60 ish mph and came to a truck ending ... needless to say im now looking for a replacement. I did mainly use it for map routing with Talky Toasters via an sd card. My question is this possible with the Garmin Explore to upload the TT maps and use gpx files for routing.

I dunno, but the Garmin maps are great now. Edge Explore routes me really well and I have not felt the need to upload TT as I did on my old Edge Touring.
