Just bought a 820 edge to explore more rides around the country plus local rides other people use, thought I'd simply log into Garmin connect and search other people's trails but I cant, I'm not brilliant with technology but thought it would be easier than this, any tips or information or better still a step by step guide that an ape could follow, thanks

Which is the page for searching other peoples' (public) courses/activities
Still much prefer Strava though for finding new stuff, especially off-road using the Segment Explore function
Ye I think I can link my Garmin to strava do you get more out premium account it's £40 for the year, I'm on go ride website at the moment but not to much on here.
Main benefit of Strava Premium with the newer Garmins like the 820 is Live Segments which are great fun. Also I think you have to be a premium member to download other peoples' routes. You should be able to do a free trial to see if it's worth it for you.
Yes I've got 60 days premium account but I still can't get to explore courses in Garmin connect
