I have used a 305 for about 2.5 years are was thinking about changing to a 500 but one thing I use the 305 is for is after ploting a route I put it on the 305 and then just follow the line on the screen which I have found works very well but can any one tell me if you can put the same sort of routes on to the 500.

I [i]believe[/i] on the 500 you can do the "follow a track" thing where you get a dotted line you try and stick to and it shouts at you if you leave it. What it can't do, which the 205/305 can is where you plot a route consisting of a series of waypoints and it beeps when you approach one and shows which direction to turn when you do.
