Off to Tenerife on Friday, week cycling.
I use a Garmin 800 in the UK with OS maps, what would I need to do to use it in Tenerife?
Iphone 5 with Strada it will work in Tenerife as I use it overseas on work but its a work phone and I dont want work! will it still be able to do the GPS bit if i switch off roaming?

Persevere, it's well worth it. I've got french, spanish, uk and all of scandinavia sat in a folder on my PC ready to install (depending where i'm going of course) they tend to be as good as the upgraded Garmin maps (rather than the base map) for road stuff and far far better for offroad stuff.
