Does anyone have a simple guide how I can share a Garmin map I have bought between 2 705's?
I've tried copy and paste onto a blank SD card but the other 705 won't read it.
An I missing something?

wouldnt imagine you can mate or everyone would buy them an flog them on fleabay once they had made a copy
why do you need the maps twice??
If you are taling about the maps purchased from Garmin, like the GB Topo, then they are Rights Managed onto a single Garmin device. You won't (easily) be able to copy them between devices.

Dont use the Garmin maps but get the openstreetmaps or openMTBmaps, there free and have much better detail than the Garmin maps
search for "garmin unlocker"
i agree with pete though, i downloaded those maps and theyre much better than garmins, although neither are as good as an OS map.
Most people don't need the maps, it's the courses (in .crs format) that you use to navigate on a ride. They will show up on the basemap.
