Wil I be able to use my maps on the SD card in the 605?
Any deals online?
Think £244 is the cheapest I have found.

The normal OS SD card maps fit in my Garmin 800. Never had 605.

Is Garmin topo( in my 605) the same as Garmin discovery?
Anybody know the difference.

no, they are different. Topo is rubbish for the UK IMO when OS maps are available, which where Discovery comes in - Discovery is OS 1:50k.
Your current maps should work fine in the 800, whatever they are.

Unless you installed them on the micro SD card from the DVD, if so they'll only work on the original device.
