Garmin 530 impact

Hello,

I had a nasty off last week and my head and Garmin unit took the full force. Head is ok but Garmin seems to not want to connect to Apple iphone or any sensors on the bikes. I'll be sending it off to garmin since me and my 520 were always hitting something and that still works. Just a dismal battery life on it.

Anyone else experienced this issue? Fine before impact but no bluetooth post crash?

Thanks,

Matt

Not had that before, buy my 530 took a farily benign impact a few weeks ago and the select button stopped working properly.

I feel like an outdoor device should be a little bit better put together tbh.

I couldn't find any details to send mine away for repair, how did you arrange yours?

My 520+ had been a bit flakey on bt connection until a crash a couple of months ago. Thereafter it was utterly uncommunicative. I worked through a few factory resets. And multiple forgettings of the device from my phone. Eventually it came back to life and had been as good as gold since. It was a frustrating process. Screen crack had not resolved itself though.

My Garmin 520+ is flaky enough without having had a crash!
