Anyone fixed a 520 screen?
Mine just turned into a million pieces.

Back to Garmin I reckon. They'll likely offer you a good trade-in on a newer unit.

If no joy fixing or Garmin helping you, https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/garmin-edge-530-gps-cycling-computer/rp-prod187218 is £160.

Nah
I am going to fix it for less than 20 squid all being well. Surely possible. I just can’t believe for a tiny piece of glass it has to be silly money.
Looks like I have to go to the beast for a screen

It is plastic, is it not? I had to replace the battery in mine...haven't worked out out to restock the screen so it is attached with electrical tape around edges of screen and unit. Seems to be glued to some.kind of foam and that then tears when removing it.

When I bust my 520 screen Garmin offered me a refurb replacement for £95. I went for a 530 instead.
The black Friday deals on the 530 have just come in so £160 is a good price.
let us know how you get on fixing the 520, I couldn't find a screen for £20 from China.

We will see how it goes.
If it cannot be fixed and has to be big money upgrade and so on. It will burn and Garmin will be no more.
Let you how I get on.
I have a bathroom to finish and an rc unimog to build so give me a minute x
