So after a year my Edge 1000 battery seems to have died a death.
Takes 100% charge, stays charged when not in use but then only lasts about 3.5hrs of riding then dies. It's done this all of a sudden - 3 rides ago it was absolutely fine and lasted about 10hrs.
Before I send it back to Garmin, has anyone else had this? I've tried a reset and turning off Bluetooth.

No degradation in mine whatsoever after 18 months.
Not been used as much as yours though 😉

Contact Garmin customer support, they are excellent in responding and sending out replacements, even for out of warranty items.

Yes this is already the second one... First one only lasted a week then the buttons broke.
