Planning on riding it tomorrow, but would be easily put off if the best bit is covered in sheet ice and not rideable. What's the first few hundred yards north from the Gap currently like?

I rode it two weeks ago in the cold and lots of the route was very icy, but you could bypass the worst bits and ride the rest (slowly). I would have thought the rain over the last week would have shifted most of it.
