That was a reissue Stumpy, surely?

you can spot the reissue stumpy's cos they've got modern xt cranks & mechs

Burner had to win. Even a died in the wool MTBer would agree. Most of us came to MTBs via a burner or similar. They were the epitome of 'pissing about in the woods on bikes' for me. Happy memories.

Loving that pic, reminds me of some quality times on the track in our local woods. I was too posh for a raleigh, I had a Diamondback Viper 8) Wonder if my old man has some pics of that...
