Went out to the shed last night and noticed that my sealant bottle had some furry mould around the top of it. Looked at a couple of wheels with some old sealant residue on it which had also went furry. Obviously at this time of the year the shed is damp / cold so perfect conditions for mould to grow but it got me thinking....... What's in the sealant that would grow mould like that?
Nothing else has mould on it in the shed, only the sealant bottle / sealant residue.

sealant is a latex, which will happily support mould growth if unpreserved, or over time as preservative becomes less effective.
