[Closed] 'Funny' noise..............singlespeed rebuild.

Drive train is smooth and silent when on work stand - funny grating sound when pedaling under pressure - what is it??
? chain (SRAM S/S) rubbing on bash guard (Hone double and bash with inner removed)

really bad chainline? looks like may be a SS hub though? hard to see. spacers on BB wrong and its a non SS chainring with some shaping?

S/S hub, new freewheel, new chain. My knees creak at a much deeper pitch. ๐Ÿ˜‰
2 spacers on BB drive side (same as pre-rebuild).

Have you got a half link in your SS chain?? Mine made a terrible racket till i removed it!

is your half-link sticking out a bit? - mine was when I built it and it was rubbing on the bash - I just turned the link around so the fastening clip thingymajig mounts on the inside now.

if the chainring is your old one skip the chain on 1 tooth.

There is no play or owt in the HTII BB but could it be the BB? - s'nearly 12months old..................you must understand that this is my first HTII so I'm not familiar with knowing when they're going, so to speak.
