on my new demo7.
maz 66's. itslast years white ( eurrghh ) model.
i think its a maxley issue.
anyone know?
sounds like it might be one of those weird brand new spitting the dummy issues.
have you tried some other axles and wheels in the new fork to pin point it?
the marz maxle thing only fits the 66's
if i tighten it past the click the wobble goes. think the skewer thing is ****ed
How's your one-man clean up of Hertford going? 🙂
going well!
You do realise you have taken on Edward Woodward's mantle don't you?
You are the "New Equaliser"
we got one back so far
back on topic. i have a vague recolection of a problem rearing its head before on here but cant think.
I had a rattle in my badminton racquet but it was only £10 so i just bought another, i hope this helps. 🙂
You sure it's the axle? I had a weird rattle from my wheel and it eventually turned out to be a small piece of metal inside the rim (ex729) had come lose and was sliding back and forth. Couple of squirts of superglue sorted it out.
I had heard some people having issues with proII and maz but I thought that was on the older ones . My mate ended up getting a replacement axle for his 55s under warrenty.
i can move the wheel side to side unless i over tighten the maxle thing to just before it clicks again
jedi what wheel/hub up front?
take the ickle rubber washer thing off the axel
Try greasing the rubber o ring. The maxle on my 55s was very hard to tighten (couldn't get it to click at all) until I did this - all fine now.
If you've got a proII hub it could be that the bearings need re-seating.
eh?
its a complete offf the peg demo7. speecy front wheel and 66 forks
take the rubber washer off the axel (i had the same problem with my zocchis)
really??? what will that do? the thing clicks when tightend
it'll stop the wobble
